CFD Simulation / Analysis
For CFD (computational fluid dynamics), there are many software to perform simuations and analyzes.
There are two types of the discretization methods in CFD, one is referred to as the FEM ( finite element method ), the other one is called particle method . One of the particle method, MPS ( moving particle semi-implicit ) has been invented and developed in Japan.

The left side shows mixing degree and time for oil and water in an agitator in zero gravity .
The right side is for comparison while the initial condition is a little bit different.

FEM (finite element method) CFD
The MPS method has been invented and developed by Professor Dr. Koshizuka at the University of Tokyo in Japan .
Professor Koshizuka has founded Prometech Software, Inc. and Prometech is developing and providing a CFD software, Particleworks .
The most notable feature of Particleworks is " free from mesh generation ".
Under construction
I fix this as soon as possible.
And
Do you need an all-in-one CFD package , from meshing (pre-processing) to data analysis (post-processing)?
And
If you are a Linux user and can program in C ++ , I will give you tutorials in OpenFOAM . Click here!
There are many demo clips on Particleworks and I present a couple of representative ones.
" Dam break ", a simulation of free-surface behavior and its visualization.
" Powertrain oil "
" Water seepage "
